Pear and chocolate tart recipe by of 25-03-2010 [Updated on 01-03-2017]
The pear and chocolate tart is the last dessert I made. I was intrigued by the combination of pears with dark chocolate, I found this recipe on a newspaper insert and tried it. Really good! Unfortunately I'm very late for work (I'm still in the office for the record) and the time to cook something good is reduced to very little :( I'll try to make it up again this weekend, but for now ... get this nice chocolate and pear cake and if you try it, let me know what you think.
How to make Pear and chocolate tart
Prepare the shortcrust pastry by putting the flour, sugar and flaked butter, eggs, vanillin and baking powder in a bowl
Knead with your fingertips until you get a homogeneous dough
Wrap the pastry in plastic wrap and let it rest in the fridge for an hour.
In the meantime, prepare the tart filling. Melt the chocolate
Then add the egg, sugar and cream and mix until you get a smooth and homogeneous cream
Roll out the 3 mm thick shortcrust pastry on a floured pastry board. Line a greased pan and prick the base with the tines of a fork
Then pour the chocolate cream over the entire surface of the pastry. Peel and cut the pears into wedges and arrange them radially on the surface of the cream
Sprinkle the pear and chocolate tart with sugar then bake at 180 ° and cook for 30 minutes
Allow the pear and chocolate tart to cool, cut into slices and serve
